![]() ![]() TK Takaishi
Digiegg: HopeDigimon: Patamon - Angemon Armour Digimon: Pegasusmon ("flying hope") Japanese name: Takaishi Takeru Images 02 TK has grown up a lot - not just in height, but in personality. He has lost the childish exhuberence and optimism that characterised him in 01. That doesn't mean he's a pessimist now, just that he is more serious and careful, less naive and cheerful. TK, like Kari, sometimes comes across as being nearly perfect. Everyone likes him (except Davis, who is jealous of his friendship with Kari ^^;;) and he is good at pretty well everything. Now he's a basketball player and general nice guy. Good-natured, calm, friendly and confident, he makes friends easily and usually seems to know what the right thing to do is. He is best friends with Kari and has strong feelings where she is concerned. I think he loves her but that is never explicitly said. He is still keeping that promise he made in 01 - to always protect Kari. TK and his mother recently moved to a new apartment. The 02 series begins with TK having moved back to his old school and meeting up with Kari and company again. He now lives in the same apartment building as Yolei and Cody. TK sometimes visits his brother's apartment and spends time with his Dad, which he never used to do. The scenes with the two brothers and their father are some of the coolest and funniest ones in the series, I think. ^^;; The age difference between TK and Patamon is more obvious than that of the other digidestined. Patamon hasn't aged, but TK has. Whereas in 01 they were both childish like each other, Patamon now seems a lot younger in comparison to his partner. But the two are still great friends. I think that TK would make a good leader. People listen to him more than they listen to Davis, and he treats everyone fairly. He has a lot of patience, although after putting up with Davis' antagonism for long enough, he begins to snipe back. Still, like Kari, he is not in the limelight very often, not being a pushy person. He is determined as ever and won't shirk from his duty. Occasionally he goes 'scary' - loses his usually good-natured cool to go after the powers of darkness. Like Kari, he usually lets the new kids figure out things on their own rather than tell them everything.
